Wishbone Ash are a British rock band formed in Devon in 1969. They are considered one of the innovators of the twin lead guitar sound, with Ted Turner and Andy Powell being regularly cited as two of the most influential guitarists of all time. They had huge critical and commercial success in the 1970s, including the release of Argus in 1972, now recognised as one of the all-time classic rock albums. Since then, they have had a few changes of personnel. Wishbone Ash is still going, with mixed critical and commercial success, and are still releasing albums. Martin Turner has also created his own version of the band and has been touring since 2004.
